I know this has been talked about, but I wasn't entirely "happy" with the threads I found.

I'm replacing my rear suspension

5206K6 - £51.01
5206TE - £54.72 - I'm guessing this is the new part/part number?

or these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PAIR-PEUGEOT-306-BILSTEIN-REAR-GAS-SHOCK-ABSORBERS-/290708318022?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43af90e746

?

I know that the rears weren't much loved, but remember Welshpug saying they had been revised. But then there is a lot of talk about the Citroen equivalents.

Just after a few more opinions if possible?

Smile

the TE is the superseeding part.

with the bilsteins you'd need to check if they are the later large bodied versions with the flat on one side for clearance just like the originals, part number didn't change unfortunately.

Right I'll find out, perhaps there's a build code which could help with identifying them?

Are these the ones you're on about?

Out of curiosity, how do you know they've been revised? Smile

Having had the damping rates for the 306 and Xsara, the latter are allot better so if your car is lowered go for those, in comparison the 306 ones are pretty soft
