Chris,i dont think you'll like the Clio.its not that fast, not the comfortable but the noise is awesome Love

Phase 2 is the one to go for as the revised suspension makes them aot more fun and less snappy on the limit.plus they look hell of alot better inside.

Room for the wee man isint as bad as got either a passat or chevy kalos i can use pretty much anytime. id prefer an e36 evo than an e46, i prefer the older shape, but i really fancy a v6 clio my 306 on pistonheads for 10k or swap lol

You may get your wash bag in the front.

Don't put anything heavy on the engine cover in the back. They aren't cheap to replace!

Not much better than a 182 either on road or track.

Clearly you havent driven one! Yes the handling is a bit strange and yes on paper they arent much quicker than a 182, but in the real world the shear grunt from the v6 will leave the 182 looking silly!

I have owned a Clio V6 255 for 4 years now and it still puts a smile on my face, its funny how people just stop and stare at you! And the noise is just awesome!

ok it has no boot, no space, no rear seats, has a very large turning circle and you cant really leave it anywhere but who cares, you will soon forget all that.

The mpg isnt that bad, I get around 30-32mpg out of mine, my Clio 197 F1 (which was suppose to be a more sensable car) cant get more than 30mpg!!!

Parts arent that bad either as most bits are robbed from other cars, its just the panels that are crazy money.

but as people have said, buy a phase 2 because they drive much better, are much better built and I think they look better!

I have Smile a friend of mine has one with carbon seats etc.
It's not that I'm saying it isn't fast in a straight line. It's just that if you were in country lanes etc a 182 is always going to be faster due to the sheer balls you would to drive a v6 as fast.
