Hi guys just a quickie.

I'm running the standard air box set up with a green cotton filter IMO it works very well. Anyway I was messing around with the car today and decided to give the filter a clean.

When i removed the filter i noticed a black cylindrical tube it's smaller in diameter than the pipe from the TB so my question is by removing it will it help air flow and restrict it a little less??

Many thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Was just curious i guess. It looks like it could dampen induction noise and draw air through a smaller area of the filter than what it would if it wasn't there.
