Does anyone know if Sparco strut brace part no. SSB036RG54 will fit a 1998 gti6 or would i need SSB036RG29 to prevent it fouling something?

As far as i know both types fit the rallye/6 its the d'turbo that needs the 2nd style due to the intercooler on top of engine

Well I've worked out why its so expensive! it weighs about 2kg max.

However it fouls the brake fluid reservior and so won't go straight on.

Swampy my next call was gonna be to you for the bolts. But need to make some modifications to something before it will fit.

May have to swap to an S16 master cylinder and reservoir which i presume sits lower.

I got it silly cheap so if i can't get it to fit i'll take it to my local scrap metal place and get my money backLOL

As mentioned in your other thread, the strut brace should be a direct fit. Yes

If it isn't then it is the wrong one and you should obtain the correct one before fitting.
