ok i now know my battery is fubar it has let me down thre times in the past couple of months and i have boght a new one BUT! how long does anyone reckon i can go on with the old one still on! does a weak battery affect driving i have noticed it seems to be hesitant when pulling away etc; does a knackered battery affect performance in any way this is all just hyperthectical! the next time it has drained i will stick the new one on! how long does anyone reckon that will be? it's been fine for a week now but the guy at the battery place stuck the meter thingy on it and said "replace battry" ?

Formally team BLAZE now Team bianca recuperating from multiple organ failure nicely!
items replaced so far, clutch, cambelt etc, radiator, exhaust, most of front running gear, wish bones, drop links, ball joints, track rod ends, bearings, brakes, calipers, discs, and pads, brake lines, front springs, brake balance compensator thingy, hand brake cable, throttle cable (twice), coil pack, door handle, windscreen, wipers, head lamps several sensors and bulbs Dry .rear beam new throttle cable, new battery. .......... yeah man, team money pit! but shes still rollin!

as long as the alternator is charging fine it wont harm the rest of the car,
