Hi All

I bought this engine a few months ago to put into my 205, however, as I couldnt get my hands on the engine fast enough I ended up buying an unknown engine, and just fitting it and hopeing all would be ok! As it turned out, the engine I fitted made pretty good power and I didnt need to fit this engine in the end. The engine cost me £350, which is what I want for it.

The engine in question is out of CUJ's Rallye

This had a head rebuild by C.G.cars (Carl) and then 500 miles later the bottom end started to knock. The bottom end was then replaced by Welshpug and runs lovely. Has all new seals/gaskets/bolts waterpump timing belt and tensioners. Also has new piston rings, rehoned cylinder bores, crank re grind with brand new over-sized main and big end bearings to suit. Also benefits from a Rich W MLS headgasket. Since the rebuild engine has done 2000 miles, so is like new. I bought the engine from Ash who can vouch how well it pulls as he helped to refit it after bottom end went.

Comes with sensors and loom etc but no ECU.

As above, I am looking for £350 collected from south wales.

oi! stick it in that grey 205! Razz

IIRC it was only the big ends that were re-ground, the crank was in good condition other than one lightly knocking big end

The only downside is Dan was caught fisting a dead badger in Pyle and Kenfig and still smells of rotting animal intestines to this day

no box Thumbs up

you wouldn't want a 6 box in a 205 anyway.

Hmmm,

I might see if I can find the money. This is my way of economising when I need a new crank seal.

This is still here and ready to go now. It is currently minus the alternator and aux belt set up/bracket.

Perfect engine to swap for a dead or unhealthy engine.
