I'm looking for an alternative for cleaning the car without a pressure washer (hosepipe ban) and I've come accross this stuff;

http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-no-rinse.html.

Has anyone used it before or can suggest something else? I don't feel like taking my car to the polski's around my area No

I don't trust any dry wash products and would never use them.
Others say that it works and it probably does but is more likely to put more swirls and scratches into the paint than just washing with a good car shampoo and good quality mitt.

Give the car a wash tomorrow as you will have all the water you will need as it's going to be pouring it down for most of the day LOL

I use Optimum No Rinse, when I can't use the hose pipe and my pressue washer. My main gripe with it is that is no good for rinsing off under the wheel arches, the underside and the backs of the wheels.

It is perfectly safe to use on paintwork and does not inflict swirls if used correctly.

It is not a dry product or a spray on wipe of product. You use it like a shampoo in your wash bucket, wash one pannel at a time and dry (no need to rinse, hence it's name).
