Don't waste your money, unless you're already at 240+bhp NA and you're looking for a bit extra.
Spend your cash on suspension & brakesNinja

Cool

You can get oversized inlet valves made out of a the same grade metal has the exshaust valves.I have had them fitted to my head due to my original valves falling apart and smashing up my pistons. You do need them seated and they are bigger than standard so the benifits would be more air more power and remap.Although ive not had mine remaped due to being on Carbs but it will cost you around £200 for the valves ,reseating of the valves £200 ,and remap so when you all done you might get change out of £600 and maybe a couple of bhp and lbs of torque which is not really cost effective. However due to my valves breaking i have done the above to have peace of mind due to my driving style being more extreme than average.

I know most of sandy brown's race engines use standard valve diameters, afaik that includes a 225 bhp+ TU5J4, and a few 280 odd bhp XU10's and EW10's.

The valves i got were used and were made for Longman for his race /modfied engines etc and are oversized valve diameters and i think are made out of steel, standard inlet valves are alloy and are joined these i got are one piece.

Standard inlet valves are CrSi steel

Standard exhaust valves are bimetallic with chromium plated CrSi steel stems and Austenitic CrMnNiNb-steel heads

interesting to note, I guess that's mainly why most proper engine builds use quite expensive single piece valves as the seat pressure and impacts must be immense at high revs.

These ones i got are different to the standard inlet valves and are one piece i guess they must be some other material i got them of a chap called Paul Ivy who said these are better grade than standard inlet valves.

Could be but ive spoke to a lot of people before i got these and only a few ever recalled valves breaking so i must have been very unlucky when my valves broke off .
