Any reason why most of this is missing from the FAQ ?

loads of the FAQ's now have loads of missing sections, text and are pretty useless because the forum software /coding or something has changed and it stops displaying text after quote marks and special characters [from my understanding]

Yes, this is true but to be fair all the FAQ's are important and with some of the information missing out of them they become useless which is a shame and why this section needs work.

Has the buyers guide been updated at all? As they get older the list must be massive by now...

Yeah well I'm sure everything is important yada yada, but that Buyer's Guide might help someone to BUY a GTI-6/Rallye in the first place, and then they might join up on the forum as a result.

The rest of the FAQs they will need AFTER they buy the car.

That's how it worked for me.

This is the first i've heard of it. It's not that it's not being displayed properly, the Buyers Guide is missing text. I'll see what I can find in the backups.

Fully restored Thumbs up

It's been knackered for ages though, had to use a backup from August 2011.

There are a few more threads with bits missing - Rich's engine build thread for example

Ash - I have some updates for the buyers guide, what's the best way to get them added ?

Gaz, I can unlock the thread for you and you can add away...
If anyone else posts on it whilst its unlocked, I will just clear that off when you've finished updating. Wink

Would you like me to do that? Unsure
