Lovely woke up this morning to a massive crack In my windscreen. Just wondered whether when I get it done through insurance do I lose my ncb or does it depend on insurer. many thanks in advance.

Don't loose any NCB but you will have an excess to pay, anything from 50-150 quid.

If the excess is much more than £100 get it done privately. Using an independent company.

When i went through my insurance it cost me the £75 excess and went down as a claim so did bump up following years premium, then when i needed one for the Rallye i contacted my local screen fitter (looked through the yellow pages ) they quoted £80+Vat fitted i had it done through work so boss allowed me to pay £80 Smile, its worth ringing around to see what the difference will be

Will be slightly more for a '6 as the screens with the rain sensor are a bit more expensive.

seen p2's without them, would imagine there's as many p1 as there are P3's.

they're £150 for a phase2 rain sensor screen from pug btw.

Get Gavin to inject his special resin.

Even though you lose your no claims, it can still go on your policy and may increase your premium the next year.
