I believe he did mate as he was asking if it was ok to use the 8mm pin the crank pulley to hold the crank in place to undo the pulley bolt. Shock

This leads me to believe that both cams and the bottom pulley timed up ok...

It will all soon become apparant once you get back out there just where everything goes. I know it looks daunting but you will be surprised just how much you remember about the location of things as you start piecing it back together. Smile

I meant get stuck in with the repairs and get dirty...instead of only reserving your skills for ZX's. Smile

The answer is.............

No Smile

Whilst everything was out we decided to give everything a good de-gunk. Then the air con annoyed me so that was ripped out. So just back from peugeot with the aditional rollers for a non air con setup. Changed the clutch as well and now thinking whilst i have LOADS of room going to change lower ball joints, droplinks and all related bushes.

In general approx £700 later and she will be up and running. But still enjoyed the experience even if my mrs didnt haha

Ahh... I would but im too cowardly for that. I would if money was an issue like it was with the zx. Plus with that car, it was f**ked. What extra damage could I do. Hence why I said to this guy to fix it himself. Smile
