Hi,

Where and what type of cams can I use for road fast performance and what matching pistons should I use (non-turbo).

I would like to build over my 6. I find of late it has been performing sluggish. What else can I do to boost its performance?

Kent cams or Catcams seem to be the most popular.

You will need to talk to them when you purchase the cams regarding whether or not you will need pocketed pistons or if the standard valve clearance will be good enough. The camshaft manufacturer should be able to give you this information. Yes

Thanks. Any place(s) in particular where can I get them and the average selling price?

Your main issue might be that you'll need to remap it to get the most out of them.
I would budget £650 all in for cams and remap absolute minimum.

Pointless to be honest - you'll get more out by making it handle better.

When remapping can i just let them know what cams I have and send the ecu or does the car have to be physically there. Any recommendations on someone that does remapping?

a very few select RR's do it for the std ECU, Aftermarket then it's a huge choice, Each application I like to do per car and not spec as they all vary slightly

I'd speak to a good engine builder and tell him what you want from the engine we use an ex longmans engine builder by the name of Bret sims he can bespoke you anything you need dependant on requirements ?

As for mapping you will need to consider an after market ecu and a full day of live mapping in the car Yes

If you need further help the your more than welcome to get in touch Yes
