So, I have a snapped cambelt, is it even worth trying to fix?

Yes, as long as you do the job right and change all the damaged parts, not just the obvious ones.

Unless the car is a shed, then no! LOL

It's a xsara vts phase 1 and yeah it is a bit of a shed lol how much an I looking for a head complete with valves and cams etc?

A complete head reconditioned all ready to fit is £350 exchange. Offer is available from a couple of members on here. Best person to ask would be either mechanical_repairs or rich_w. Smile

would be worth doing if i was wanting to keep the car, so it will be a donor for a mate then getting broken Wink thanx for the info though
