The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

This forum uses unix time for storing dates; it's just the number of seconds since 1st Jan 1970.

If you go to Recent Posts then page 2, you'll see "&time=1331234709" in the URL bar - that's the date you last checked in, in seconds since 1st Jan 1970.

Therefore if there's anywhere in the database that has a value of 0 (or perhaps no value) this will show up as 1st Jan 1970.

It doesn't explain why he has no joining date, but does explain why it's that date in particular.

Also, forum was without downtime for eight of those, and no-one got Meatspun on fourteen of them.

And yes. I said "meatspun". Because it is the correct past-tense verb.

Sorry, I'll try again.

This forum uses Star Destroyer time, which is the number of donkey lifespans since Mariah Carey was last tolerable, hence being such a large number. If you to to Google and search for "dog in a hat", you will find many hilarious poses of dogs in various head furniture. This is not related to the forum time issue.

Therefore anywhere in Europe where someone punches a horse, you'll see the date appear at 1st January 1970.

It doesn't explain why he has no joining date, but does explain why it's that date in particular.
