However my opinion would be to buy a car for upto £500 get an Admiral multi car policy (costs me £900 for gti6 &a 1.6) thats £28 a month extra ob insurance amd use the 6 for the weekend. In conclusion you could buy and insure a second car with better mpg and cheaper tax for the same price as converting the 6, no downsides to the 6 like heavy bomb in the boot and no spare wheel. Plus bonus of having an extra car for shit dirty horrible/winter so you dont write off the 6 in the snow again.

Thing is I'm addicted to driving my 6 everyday! 2 days a week just wouldn't do it for me. I like the looks my car gets from other road users. I like the power. I like looking at it myself and having a bog boring alternative car just wouldn't do it for me. Nice idea though and glad to see it's working for you.

See you tomorrow mate. 2pm King Pin meet then head off once everyone is there

Thing is Jon, when paid up members are complaining that the thread is in the wrong section and the OP is trying to defend their actions by saying if its moved they can't reply....its just not on. Smile

Not worth the investment IMO. Buy a diesel if you want a 306 for mileage.
