I think Daveyboy had a similar complaint recently too, seems the cheap ones really are poor quality

Found on a customers car, I don't supply El Cheap'o' rubbish for that very reason
But for £25.00 ish quid what can you expect, with shipping from China etc they must knock them out for next to nothing

I thought this was going to be a picture of my old wishbone bush from last month. Glad I got you to get the parts now and not a local garage as I wouldn't be too happy with a wishbone like that.

I use Motaquip one's, never had a problem yet with them over the years, ball joints I tend to use TRW (OE) as nothing else lasts really

motaparts Smile

no BJ IIRC, but BJ's are pretty cheap form them too.

worth checking what your local motaquip dealer can do them for as there'd be no postage then.

Shock

That is a pretty shocking failure to be fair...I personally wouldn't fit pattern parts to my '6' for this very reason!

the ones from eurocarparts are just as bad. i replaced both on my 106 and within 9 months a ball joint went. i reckon the other ones on its way out an thats about 13 months.

saying that ive never seen anything as extreme as that unless a kerb was to blame

my brother had some ECP ones on his car, they bent a tiny bit and the bottom of the strut folded when he caught the central reservation cables!

Do you know for sure the car hasn't been involved in some sort of crash or if this is just a one off ?

I would have thought this kind of thing would have happened before and would be well know for it but this is the first ive heard of it.
