As some of you are aware I am the new owner of the demon tweeks dimma show car, as I have totally different plans for it I no longer need the engine.
I don't have any service history for it apart from a few mot's which the last one was in 2007 at 28,000 miles when it went over to Ireland and clearly didn't get used much as it was on trade plates and no mot's since 2007 and the clock show 31,??? I'll find out when I go back to the car!
I my self think the mileage is correct as it was built in 1996 and it's an 1995 car it sat around at tweeks for a while, got featured by max power at demon tweeks hq in 1999. It's got 3 previous owners and the bloke I got it from got it in 2007 with 28k in the clock and it's now on 31k

I was a bit stupid and have already taken all the interior dash and looms out as I'm changing to phase 3 and I forgot to get a video of it running!

It drive fine but I didn't really driver it far as it has no mot and tax!

So engine, looms, gearbox for £350 collected!

Will remove it at the weekend hopefully!

There are no mots in Ireland, so it may have had plenty of use, just never needed to have a test recording any actual mileage.

Maybe but it's got 31k on the clocks!
Any way it runs and as it's out I would suggest the belts are changed!

Plus it's on uk plates so surely it would have still had to have mot and tax, it's 3k miles since 2007 till now!

I'm not saying I think it's wrong, just making you aware that Ireland don't have mots incase you didn't realise Smile

Ireland doesn't but if its a UK car i believe they still have to be tested at specific test centres.

I have, it was brought in 2007 with a full mot, got taken to ireland and was on Irish trade plates till now, either way I believe the mileage to be correct, no need to lie when the car wasn't much money and is 16 years old, I'd it was a expensive car yes but Peugeot na, what would be the point in hiding the true milage!
