went to start my car this mornin,turned the ignition and the lights came on for about a second and went off.car wont even attempt to turn over.is there any fuses anywere that could have blown,or is there a regular fault with ignition barrels?the batteries ok and all myt lights still work.any help would be appreciated as the car is pi**ing me off that much that im getting very tempted to start breaking her up.

Check all fuses in the passenger fuse box and also the battery connections for tightness and corrosion. Wink

Done that,all earth points have been cleaned up and checked over.battery terminals have been cleaned up aswel.

Check the fuses in the engine bay box (the large ones) as well.

Either that, or the ignition switch itself sounds like it's given up the ghost.

Turned out my inner arch (drivers side) has been missing for a while and the wheel has rubbed through the wiring loom.got it sorted now though.but now I have no dials working appart from water temp,no central locking and no radio so gona have to go through checking the rest of the wiring.thanks for the help though.
