Time is not much, but the project never stops...

New, even lighter battery mount...

Since i had the need to convert the clutch pedal into a hydraulic one, i decided to make a small revolution down there.

Also here the diet is present, but i didn't have the chance to weight the original parts vs new ones.
Now i have the chance to completely adapt my driving position to an even lower and further back in the car.
The gearshifter and steering wheel and column will also go further back, but in this case, there's no need of big changes.

Interior mods for the new driving position...

The willwood brake bias will now be disabled, because the new pedal box has a dash ajuster for the brake balance.

In terms of lightweight efforts, new fiberglass bonnet and bootlid (thanks fordy)are a major improvement, saving around 20kgs when compared to my already lightened parts.

New headlight masks...4,2kg vs 100grs Whistle

The lights loom will be maintained due to the techical passport aprovation.

The door/boot hinges will be the next target on the diet...since they now handle half the weight or less than that, there's no need for them to be so heavy...a 2,5/3kg diet is expected!!
I'll get some pictures after the cutting...LOL

A new one will most certainly be made, due to the new seat position.
If this is confirmed, i will get in touch with you firstly. Wink

vts_tibi...purpose built from team dynamics some years ago, but these were bought from ebay.

bibadbowen, there was no cage until this stage, but from now on, there will be a carl chambers btcc replica, with some minor changes on it. I should (and i did) thank Carl for all the help he has given with this subject.

Thanks for the compliments, all you guys! Wink
I will try and continue with this kind of handbuilt fabrication, wich is my main hobby.
