Anyone had any issues with these?
I have had the most bizare conversation with them today and I can't decide if I want to give them a very puplic slagging off or not.
I have been a good customer theirs over the years and spoke highly of them but Jesus I think I've just been fed some shit!

I take this back then as I'm not 100% it was them I read about and I don't want to unnecessarily tarnish a reputation.

The basic issue I have with them is them lying to me and treating me like an empty head, I've been a workshop manager for Audi for years and I know when I'm being spoon fed shite.
My favourite one from today's conversation that a lot of you may have an opinion on is that hybrid rear ARB's are shit and that is what is causing my car to UNDERSTEER!!

Hmm interesting, they do know their shit when it comes to setting up a car, a car built by them won the junior fia rally series the other year so they can set up a car, have they explained why a hybrid bar is shit? I thought the stiffer you made the back end results in more oversteer and less understeer?, I have a solid 28mm Arb in mine (had to bore out one of the trailing arm pins) and I dont get understeer although I do have a Quaiffe Lsd as well, also they do sell bigger Arb's themselves for 205's Dunno

Technically this is true. More grip at the rear would make the front work harder and if it isn't setup correctly understeer would occur.

I had them build me a 205 with their negative camber arms and billies all round and tbh not much could touch it. They know there onions...

I spent around £4000 with them a few years back. I went to them because of their immense reputation on here and their many years of building and modifying peugeots/ talbots.

I found them to be absolutely superb with the bits they did for me. Transformed the car in a way which I would have found nearly impossible to 'design' and request myself. They also had example cars with the bits I was fitting which I could drive to directly compare standard to what I was intending to buy. The end result was blindingly good (306 rallye with most of the cash spent on suspension, gearbox re-build and clutch plud their solid rear beam mounts)

I also drove 2 round trips totalling about 16 hours which gives you an indication of how keen I was to get there! I would think long and hard before taking info on the net above whatever they're saying. They know their stuff Wink

I thought the same as Dave, if you stiffen the roll on the rear of a Fwd car it should help with turn in and front end grip to a point but obviously as with most things if you go too far it could have an adverse effect.

People always say that these bigger Arbs reduce lift off oversteer which if that is the case it must be changing the balance to understeer. Is it possible that with them too stiff it causes the inside front wheel to lift and lose front end grip? I've had that happen with a totally standard rear beam so would guess it would be worse with a stiffer Arb.

I'd definitley ask them why they have that opinion of the Arb's and would be inclined to trust them on the reputation they have as long as they can give you an explanation, I've only dealt with them twice but both times they gave good advice and the products they supplied were top notch.

Another positive review. There aren't many places that know more about Peugeots.
