Hiya guys, how hard is it to fit a replacement plug from the door loom to the car (the one across the gap between the door and the car)? What I will be attaching is the car side of the plug and about 6 to 8 inch of wire to the existing wire in the car. Anyone done it before? Thanks

Undo the connection, remove the check-strap and the two 10mm bolts at the hinges then lift the door off and put to one side, pull the loom as far as poss out of the car and slide the gaitor up to reveal the broken wires, buy a new loom end from Peugeot for approx £70 and use a multimeter to test what pin number each wire goes to as you cut them and attach them one by one. The new loom is numbered so no need to test these wires, be sure to use solder and shrink wrap and tuck it all inside the pillar nicely after. If you dont fancy it we charge two hours and a few consumables, two booked in this week already!!
