ok some of you will know that i was selling my lcr, well with that sold i was on my way to look at a cheap corsa when i saw a octavia vrs on the side of the road!!! i got a mile past it before the missus said turn back and have a look i know you want to!

well 69k
full mot
fsh
koni fsd shocks and h&r springs

decent condition had me sold
sorry about the quality of the photos and the cleanest of the car winter time and i phone = not the best





progress so far has been
tt strut brace


lcr lower brace and powerflex dog bone bush


grille colour coded


wheels have beens sprayed gray



also put in
hid's
tt wishbone bushes going on
new strut top bushes and bearing
forge 007 r/c dump valve

plans are

new rear arb
fast road brake pads
colour code bumper rub strips
remove door rub strips
full lcr turbo conversion intercoolers etc
and lastly a lsd of some kind

there will be other small mods along the way

no it won't!! i bought the lcr because i thought it would be a faster version of a vrs i was wrong.

Managed to put on a lcr front splitter.


Also had the cambelt done and a few bushes replaced.

I loved my LCR and it still has fond memories in my head.

Over the vRS I would say ultimate braking and traction is not comparable at the extremities and a certain amount of chuckabilty is missing too!

Positives include, more stability under heavy breaking and a MASSIVE boot!

Quarter turn of opposite lock under very heavy braking will be my fondest memory of my R!

vRS is a proper nice thing though!
