As per the one of the other threads, I'm still looking for a cheap to run, fast-ish road and track car, and the GTI-6 is on the short list.

My main problem at the moment is that all of the 306's I like are either in Scotland or Wales and the trek from deepest Norfolk is a bit off-putting. I've tried eGay, the classifieds on here, autotrader, guntree and found next to feck all LOL

Anyway, I'm not that worried about the cosmetics (aside from rust) but want something that is mechanically sound, ideally with decat and induction, and any other track friendly mods. It must be road legal.

My budget is up to £1500 as I want to hold some back for R888's and a cage.

This car is my first choice but I need something within the next few weeks, so if I can't find one of these I'll have to buy something else to compete against a couple of mates Thumbs up

Thanks for the several PM's received guys. Sure fills up fast when you only get storage for five at a time Smile

I would like to emphasise that I am looking for a car that will get hammered around circuits and sprint events with the odd spell of daily duties chucked in. As such, I am not especially bothered about paint or interior condition and would much prefer to spend any budget on mechanical bits such as better suspension or brakes.

I am grateful for the interest so far and hope to be in a 306 again pretty soon.
