Would it be criminal to buy the black rallye thats for sale for £2500 in classifieds, strip it and have it as a track toy, upgrading all suspension and brakes but leave engine standard with exhaust and filter??________________________________________ TEAM Supercharged Rallye |

You could actually use the change for a charger, or stretch your budget and buy one already charged with decent suspension.________________________________________ |

id argue your better off getting a gti.mainly beccuase there cheaper and theres fook all difference really. the rallye was lighter becuase it had less things (mod cons). if you planning on track day car youll be taking all the things out the gti that pug did for the rallye version and then some. also. there were only 500 made. probably best not to butcher one. ________________________________________ the world is changed by people in sheds |

I paid 3500 for a minted Rallye pretty much standard an I've butchered it into a track car and spent loads an if I kill it I kill it will just reshell it into a silver 6 I've got! It was built to hammer round the track si that's what it gets!! Sort of wish ingad bought a shitty xsi for pennies!!________________________________________ In my garage just now2003 BMW M3 & 2009 L200 Raging Bull & Audi Q5 S Line AX stock rod & Saxo Stock rod Sold the bike an charged rallye an bought a caravan, midlife crisis or what! |

You've pretty much described mine tom. Its stripped, handling mods and upgrades, filter and exhaust. Go for a cheaper one as your only gonna gut it and even tho i love mone to bits its the same as chris...
