i have been a gti 6 owner for a couple months now and have had nothing but trouble with the thing! now the only door that opens is the drivers side :-/ iv been told it is the loom in the drivers door that is shagged how hard are they to change???

so its a case if finding the knackerd wire? i have a spare door loom as my dad has broke many pugs

so a broken wire has stopped the central locking mechanism from working hence leaving the passenger side door locked?

yeh thats what i think has happend im abit p*ssed that its happend tonight i only had the door cards off this morning fitting new ones

It may well be the wires that pass from the car through into the door. Mine have gone on the drivers side causing my passenger side window to go down and not up again.

They do but worth it when the suspension brakes and tyres are all in good condition - blasting down a country road with a big grin on your face Smile
