Hello,
A project in progress. Originally 306XSI phase 2.
I know superchargers are more favorable in this forum, but I thought a turbo project would be a nice addition. Smile

Objectives:
1. 350-400bhp (@crank)
2. Pollution level within allowed parameters
3. Sleeper car - attract no attention
4. Daily driven

Some of the parts:
1. RGX bottom (605t)
2. GTI6 head
3. GTI6 head gasket
4. ARP bolts
5. DP-Engineering Exhaust manifold, downpipe and an intercooler built for the 306
6. GT28RS Turbo (A/R 0.6)
7. Arias pistons 8.3:1 Specifically designed and requested from Arias by a friend who is a Peugeot engineer
8. Crower Con-rods
9. Crank and con-rod bearings were ordered new from Peugeot
10. 440CC Ford Sport injectors
11. VEMS ECU PNP (plugs directly to the OEM harness)
12. Quaife ATB
13. Helix Clutch

some pics:

Injectors:

Blow Off Valve:

Helix Clutch:

SPAL high performance fans - pullers:

Quaife ATB:

Pistons and con-rods:

DP-Engineering Turbo Manifold:

DP-Engineering downpipe:

More pics will follow Smile

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

Looks like an interesting build, good luck.

My only comment would be you will struggle to get the power you want with the injectors you have based on the BSFC turbo engines operate at.

You may also be limited by the maximum injector duty on the VEMS ECU. If there is a limit.

You can try them but you will need to increase the fuel pressure to at least 5 BAR with a suitable pump.

Thanks all,
you are right, Rich. The Car is already running with the injectors. I got to 97% duty cycle already @ 6800rpm and therefore, i got 750cc RC engineering injectors, which are going to replace the 440cc. Currently, the rev limiter is at 6400, to avoid overloading/heating of the injectors.
I will add more details and pics once i get home.

Very nice, not usually a fan of the turbo conversions, prefer the charger route but this has been done so well.

Eagerly awaiting more pics!

I am closer to Amsterdam than to the UK Smile

It took around 4 months, on and off (mostly off...) to get the car to this stage.
I'll try to upload more pics tomorrow, and also preliminary dyno results.
anyone cares to guess how much hp does the car output on the run up to 6500rpm @ 9.5 psi of boost? Meet
