Today I took a 4hour roundtrip to Southampton to pick up a clean 306 Rallye.
Some of you might recognise the car. It used to belong to a forum member-Jimmyrallye.
Credit to him,the car is running beautifully and the paintwork is spot on apart from the usual laquer peel on the roof. i will get that wrapped black soon.

Specs are as follows-
lowered all round on gmax spring and shock kit 60mm front and the torsion bar 50mm
Viper cold air induction kit
16 inch OZ superleggras alloys in white
lockwood dials
Upper strut brace
Magnex Grp n stainless steel exhaust, 3' tip
Pioneer headunit
Hid's

TONS of paperwork and receipts incl cambeltSmile

Plans are to raise it a fair bit, I'd like 30mm drop on the front, 20mm back. Current height isn't practical for me,lots of dpeedbumps where. I live and I want to give it back some handling.
Also ditch the magnex for a more rapsy system.

It urgently needs a new front tire due to a bubble,50p sized, on the outer tirewall. Don't fancy a blowout!
Then vinyl wrap the roof and get me some new discs and pads all around.

It's a bit dirty but I couldn't resist a quick snap of it next to my 1.6 16v Rallye which is going to a new home tonightSad
Comments welcome
More pics to follow once its had a good clean.

2 pink cars? Wheres that "homo" smiley? Hmm

Only joking mate, they both look lovely and I know it will just be the cameras fault for the colour.

Is that Jimmy's old 306? Ignore me, I just looked at the pictures, didnt read the post Doh

Haha you joker. Yes, just taken on my phone. Gf has conveniently 'borrowed' my camera.
Mind you the roof is pink on the 306 so that will be wrapped ASAP.
I will get it valeted tomorrow to see how much of the colour we can restore!
Progress blog will kick off tomorrow, no major plans, just a little tidying up here and there.
Amin

Yellow lego dust caps ftw!
Cheers dude. Always had a soft spot for the 306 Rallye and, well,it seemed like a logical move rather than a 172 Cup.
I'll crack on with a few lil changes tomorrow!

You sir either live for the 6 or have a mental retardation to still be repairing this!

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

Sorry back o/t - your new rallye looks lush! I nearly bought it a few years ago but missed out on it, I ended up with the one above.

Dave.
