It's probably the shittest of shit jobs too. I nearly torched the car when I did mine... I had a new one though and they are sooooooooooo stiff. Get thick rubber gloves and but the pipe in water from the kettle first so it softens up

It is a bas**rd to get the pipe on, how such a easy job could turn out to be a bit of a bas**rd I don't know, the pipes not dear from pug and don't buy the new jubilee clips as they make you buy a bag of 20 which I did so if you need 2 jubilee clips then let me know and I can supply them for p+p

I had the new type though. Looks different and is thick as f*ck. It's basically a brute strength job tbh. Unless you drop the tank

I had this a while ago and it's fiddly but fairly easy, also as a cheeky and shameless plug I have a more or less new elbow you could have for a tenner posted Whistle

what i did, was to leave the silicone joiner in boiling water for 10 mins, sprayed a little of WD40 around where it needed to go and it went on a few swear words later Smile

It's not the easiest job but it's not exactly taxing. Elbow from the filler to the tank is likely culprit however I did have a leak from the feed line on my hdi where it came off the tank top on the run from the tank pump to the bay, that was a bigger fix.

I just used some water based lube from the sex shop it's really slippy so I rubbed it all over the pipe and the neck where it fitted with and that worked a treat, I also put it in hot water but by time id fannies about trying to get it on it had cooled, it's not hard it's just diddly and does take some force with the fingers.
