Hi, I ordered some new washer jets from pug as mine are always blocking up.
I was happy when I noticed these are the mist ones but there hitting right at the bottom of the windsreen where the wipers rest and I can't for the life of me adjust them to spray higher up, I've tried a pin but won't work, I can even see the jet, just a flat long hole where the water shoots out.
Can anybody help?
Do I need a Small flat bladed screwdriver in the long flat jet hole?
When they're hitting the right spot they're going to be great compared to the old ones.

Do you mean you now have the Citroen Xsara jets?

I have these on mine and they are 1000 times better than the standard 306 ones

Strange they are angled like that if they are the Xsara's as mine sprayed straight into the middle of the screen from the off

i have this problem 2 i mostly just left it cause cwpelllowe has them aswell i asked how you adjust them and he said hed tryd with a screw driver ect but it just made them worse so dont stick a screw driver in them! lol

lol, I thought they was the Citroën ones but I got them from pug with my chassis/reg number.
I've tried a needle but no joy.
Shame because it's awsome how the water sprays out compared to the old ones.

maybe they are a 206 mist jet. they look the same but may have a different spray angle.

Could always pack the front of the washers up a bit to change the angle LOL

I have OM Citroen ones as well and are the same on the lower part of the window, don't bother me.
but if there is another part number for ones that spray in the centre, would be interested

I ordered myself a set of these off ebay a few days ago, as mine are pants and keep blocking at the moment.

I hope I can adjust them, or have bought the xsara ones that will hit the right bit on the screen Razz

Are they superseded now?
Theyre nothing like the standard phase 3 ones.
They're bigger instead of just a small circle on the bonnet and the spray is much better, they would cover the whole window if they hit the right spot LOL

Let me know how you get on darkstar, if they're good I may order a set if I can't get these to go higher

small round 2 jet unit is standard phase 1+2, and phase 2 205.

Are the proper hase 3 ones mist or still 2 jets?
Wonder why mine had phase 2 ones on, im sure I've seen a few phase 3's with the small round 2 jet ones tho.

The first set I got pointed FAR too low, where hitting where the wipers normally sit!
Ordered another set off the bay that looked slightly different in the picture and they hit where you would expect on the windscreen, dont know about whilst travelling at speed but ill find out soon enough.

The difference between the two, the right hand one works fine, left hand one is far too low

the right hand one came with a little washer on the bottom, so they dont drip underneath like the first set!

Ok I fan confirm the ones I just bought off e bay for £11 hit in the middle of the screen, looks about perfect. Part number 6438 v8.
I don't think the spry pattern is as misty as the others, but saying that how would I know, they hit the wipers before LOL

they are non adjustable...so dont try to adjust as all you will do is screw the spray pattern up...

Have you driven with them yet. I want to go for a drive just to test them!
I reckon they will be perfect at any speed looking at where they hit the screen.
