This is pretty off topic but i know there are a fair few users on here that spend all day stuck in front of a computer and just wanted to make a recommendation after a recent purchase.

I use AutoCAD all day long and have been for just over 10 years now and im really starting to feel it; the biggest problem being that my mouse hand gets really cold.

So a quick look online reveals the hot mouse for £22.98 inc delivery.

after using it all day so far i have to say its great and well worth getting one if you do similar work to me Big grin

What discipline/projects do you work on.

I also use AutoCAD all day and think the heated mouse is a great idea.

Residential developments specifically; im technical manager for a developer so put together all planning applications and technical working drawings.

You?

I dont think I have particularly bad circulation; perhaps its the fact that its AutoCAD and my usage is prob 90% on the mouse so im clicking the buttons all day long.

10 years of it certainly takes its toll; only another 35 to go Doh

Hi There

I have done alot of residential development work in my time. Barratts, David Wilson Homes, Fairview etc.

Returned from Aus approx 6 months ago where i did alot of major highways projects and motorways widenings and intersections etc.

Now back I am doing a airport project in Jeddah, to be the biggest airport in the world.

I am back off to Aus in the new year for a new role at a mining consultancy.

I am doing the same role as you with a design team of 35. Not bad for an essex boy of 30 years old. lol

I also struggle with a cold hand. Circulation is normal too.

I have many approx 35 years left of my working life so i should just crack on i suppose.

Do you get pins and needles and numbness in it, especially at night while trying to sleep?
If soMaybe it's the start of carpet tunnel syndrome.
