My Cat is rattling so im in need of a replacement.....Heard/read alot about pattern parts not fitting very well so im after genuine. Pic's too please and prices delivered, may be able to collect as i do a lot of driving all over so let me know what you have! The guy who did my stainless mid section on Saturday said it was fubared.Said that it was rattling internally....you can hear it rattling away on idle. Sound like its gone to you Carl? I have a genuine cat, nothing wrong with it i replaced it for a de-cat. I've used a pattern part cat, which I bought through buypartsbuy.Never had any issues with it ________________________________________ FRESHLY RE-FURBISHED GTI BEAMSFITTING AND LOWERING AVAILABLE. Sorted thanks all.Good to meet you today Seb and cheers for all the advice.  Glad the car was willing to show you the infamous and elusive rattle that seems to come and goe as it pleases! Will be checking out the driverside hub as soon as i get the opportunity....like you say im sure thats the culprit to my problems, it almost judders slightly when i come off the throttle so it all points to an ovaled hub!
