As I said before I think the 6 is probably a better car but the Clio is far from shite. Infact I bet many people would prefer one. I think you need to take your head out of your arse and open your eyes if you really think a gti6 is the best thing on 4 wheels tho.

They are lovley cars, and all the ones on this thread look awesome.

But.. for me, theres just to many of the them about at the moment there abit too common and that makes them not so special.. Ill keep the 6 for now Smile

Unless you have a Trophy. Only 500 made (for this country at least) and will royaly spank a 6 or rallye round a track.

Shame they were produced in such a crap colour though. My favourite colour is the blue cup that Ash has.

Im not doubting that a Clio Cup is probably a good car....

I personally find it hugely amusing and gratifying when people slate Manstone 6's about being supposedly the 'gay' variation of the Gti bunch....only to go and buy a fecking Clio which anybody who has a set of working eyes can tell you they are one of the most homosexual looking cars going. Roll eyes

Not for me....maybe for you fags out there, but no, not for me sir...not for me!

    i couldnt agree more.

i seriously dislike them, i just see them as a very femanine car. (hairdressers car)

im not saying there slow or crap on a track or anything like that as i've never driven one (and most definately never will) i just hate them.

    +1

I tracked mine 2 weeks after buying it. It's not like they're 30 grand or anything, and they're designed to be thrashed around a track, so what's the worst that could happen! bar crashing it of course.

My mate has a clio 182 and does seem a good little car. Other mates said mine felt quicker and more planted, but mine isnt a standard car, and his isnt a trophy so cant compare really.

Quick pic next to mine in the car park at work. Probably because the 306 is in the foreground, but makes the clio look tiny LOL

I can see what a few people mean about them being girly cars though. It's not that its a girly type of car, but definitely appeals more to girls than a 306 Yes

Disclaimer: The above statement is based on the fact that over the years I have known/seen many girls driving clios but only one with a 306.

Yep they look girly but up to the legal speed limits they are a better car than the 306 and more rewarding and fun. The cups are an obvious choice due to the extras.

The throttle arrangement makes them seem much more keen to go than any GTi6 I've driven.
