Check me and Ryan out agreeing on stuff! Personally I don't see a problem with making anyone a mod who wants to be, and has been here a reasonable amount of time. They're moderators, not admins - so it's not like they can (I hope...) go mental, delete Ash's account and ban everyone at the same time. If someone's a mod and they don't do a good job, it can be taken away from them. As we've seen, it's all about having eyes on as soon as possible to stop trolls and spammers. Surely it's better to just have more mods? Appointing one isn't going to make any difference. We need to remember that mods aren't there to stop arguments, or to make sure people agree with their opinion - they're there to make sure the forum is kept clean, tidy, and that people stick to the rules. correct, although it would seem a bit odd to me to have a mod who has instigated or taken part in arguments/flamings/thread spamming in the past.
