Done an engine and gear box change the other day on my 6, it
Was fine for a few days then the gear box has decided to start leaking any idea if it's the drive shaft seals or the diff that could be leaking cheers in advance

Depends what's leaking out, if it's oil you may have dislodged a driveshaft or damaged a seal. If it's leaking milk, you've probably filled it with dairy instead of the correct oil.

Best bet is get some good degreaser on the go and get it all clean so you can see exactly where the leak is coming from, because either is feasible.

Did you change the driveshaft seals for new Pug ones? They are dead easy to nick with the spline of a driveshaft and then they leak. Oil has a habbit of getting everywhere, so like Owain says, get cleaning first.

they arent meant to be fitted flush, 1.5mm one side and 1mm tother iirc.

No didn't change the drive shaft seals, but I have phoned up for a price
£8.99 which ain't to bad

Me too twice, the drivers side never leaked but the p/s did both times slightly
