Does the ICV only come into play when the engine is at idle speeds? I'm having a bit of rough running/occasional stalling issues - the car idles well but if I open the throttle a little bit the response is aweful until it gets to about 1500rpm and then it will rev up suddenly(despite me only opening the throttle a tiny bit).

From reading through other threads I'm thinking MAP/TPS/lambda/ICV.

To test the MAP sensor it says do not disconnect multi-plug - what's the easiest way to access the plug terminals?
