Cyclones are heavy and not wide enough. Lions are very heavy and made of cheese.
These are the best OE wheels on a 306:

If only you could get lighter cyclones in 16 inch. Would be tasty, lions don't really look like cyclones imo, thee lack the right curves ... seem a bit straight?

Those are Speedline magnesium made specifically for the the BTCC 306s.

Speak to Carl Chambers if you want any. He will want a LOT of money for them mind. Think they are £1600 a set new LOL

I personally like bigger but as said cyclones do compliment the the shape of the 306 very well. If Pug had made 16" 'Clones then they would have made a winner! I think Lions are awesome but for the quality, they are extremely over priced..... Not that it would stop me! LOL
Edit: If I was sticking to 15", then Cyclones FTW! Thumbs up

If I were to put a 17 inch set of wheels on it would be the gti180 alloys, they suit the 306 quite well.
But a nice set of clones really suit the 306

I don't like the fact that cyclones are on most 306 which didn't make the gti6 stand out from the rest of the 306 range, they look good.

Cyclones were exclusive to the GTi-6 until 1999.

I did not like the Cyclones until I got a 306 with them on and now I love them! Maybe it is because my 306 is in Diablo Red, which really compliments the alloys and their silver colour; red paint, silver alloys and black tyres is a nice combination.

So they are hard to balance? So can I really take them to Kwik Fit and get it done properly? Do the guys at Black Circles.com use garages that fit Cyclones well? Otherwise I will just have them done at Costco again.

I like cyclones too, but just wish they had been made lighter and 7 inch wide (as already said) dunno why Peugeot didn't tbh, as for balancing never had a problem, I just take them to ATS round the corner and they do them spot on, down to the experience and training of the operator I suppose Dunno

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.
