Hi guys, there's no newbie section so I thought id post up here, had my new 6 for almost a week now and really pleased with it. Had a 1.8xs and a Hdi before but the 6 definitely feels more planted in the corners and well obviously more powerful.

No point posting pics as it was the 2000 reg china blue one in the for sale section!! I'm a fairly active member on club306 so might know a few of you from over there.

Cheers

Was it second? I thought fourth!
I'm surprised it's pulled straight to be honest.
How did he get the jig clamp marks off the sills?

Second can be a bit stiff to get, especially when the gearbox is cold, or you have a quickshift. 2ltrs of Peugeot gearbox oil should make it better.

That's me Smile It was an XS, got it fixed in the end, had it back on the road for a week and then someone drove into it.... not cool! But yeh really enjoying the step up Smile

Even when the oil is up to temp it grinds, no quick shift fitted. I'm hoping just a fresh change of oil will at least improve it

Welcome Tom. Hope you get the gearbox issues sorted quick. Experience has told me if its crunching into gear its not a good sign. Try the oil change first but dont be too worried if a box change is imminent.

Get some pics up.

Don't worry about the 2nd gear crunch, it's a very common thing on these cars and it will be fine. Just live with it Thumbs up
