Building a engine over the winter. So looking for head parts - cams, springs etc... and block parts - arp, pistons etc. You get the idea.Thumbs up
Ive looked through the for sale posts and can see plenty of parts but not sure if they are still available. I will pay sensible money for used / bought and never used parts. Let me know what you have. Thanks, matt

This engine will be used in competition. So needs to be built fairly well.
Im going to build the block and head up to a good standard and run on stanard management and inlet until the budget allows ITBs and stand alone.

Matt,

I should be able to supply anything you need.

I can supply uprated main and big-end bearings, uprated cylinder head gaskets, and i'm a dealer for Kent and CAT Cams.

Laugh my ass off

I wouldn't go to either of those for engines.

nothing wrong with standard beings atall, im running them in my trackday pug with 230hp. could be wrong but i don't think sandy runs "uprated" bearings in his 270+ engines?

I'd be surprised if he wasn't using diesel bearings as that's what you use when reffered to uprated

I wouldn't let hi flow touch my lawn mower let alone my engineNo

Matthew at pug1off is ok though Thumbs up

Who told you that, any reason why they think that? I know of 3 engines inc my own that have around 230 bhp and have never had an issue. All of these engines have spent hours and hours on track with no issues. The only problems i know of have been down to oil temp, which can be prevented with an oil cooler.

if anything you want the softer bearing for a race engine, as it'll do less damage to the crank+rod if anything goes wrong.

those bearings that Rich sells will be just that Wink

for his top builds Sandy wont tell you what he uses, but most are just proper o.e bearings.

"diesel bearings" Laugh my ass off they're the same part number for a lot of them!
