this feedback section seems like a total waste of space/time/effort etc as it never seems to get read.

i pm'd Ash and forumadmin and jimmy same time i put this thread up see if anything was happening with new admin as none of the admin are really active on here now, so feel we should get some new mods and admin, im not intrested in doing it, but feel we need some new faces, as few threads that admin should really be commenting on.

Jimmy, has posted in the admin section, so hopefully Ash, will maybe come on have a look and sort something out, i know he will be busy and that, but thats the whole point of getting more admin in to help.

Responded to your private message Chris as I do to every PM I receive.

I understand the concerns and issues people have with admin presence but it is not something that has been discussed with Ash as yet.

The feedback section is in fact always read.

Just discussing that if there was any sort of admin selection they would most likely be chosen from one of the top membership levels.

Aside from that I don't have much more info right now Chris.

Amazing, it's like the peerage scandal all over again. The rich get more powerful, and the poor have to resort to posting technical questions in Offtopic. You wait until the Daily Mail hear about this!

Surely it'd make more sense to choose people with a high post count, rather than some muppet who's been here a day but is willing to buy his way in?

So basically, whomever is most likely to want to suck Ash's cock rather than those who would actually want to help the club move forward... Great plan Thumbs up

Jimmyhackers should be in charge of building the servers.

Laugh my ass off they would be made from a robust heat treated material which syphons the forum dataz into a small bottleneck and then a small chinese man reads these dataz off and amplifies them to a bigger server, on the back of a combine harvester, and in turn this is plouged onto our screens in a new LCD technology provided solely by wheat

it would definitely work

leavng ample expansion for a heating element created by Owain Heating LLP

I hope you're referring to a combine harvester powered entirely by melted-down dogs and high-pressure fairy liquid?

I don't see why membership levels should be a factor in deciding an admin member as this is purely attributable to money and not necessarily someone who has contributed to this site in more important ways such as helping others and being technically knowledgeable although I'm sure you will be taking that into consideration.

I don't usually comment often on the running of this site, I usually just accept the decisions that are put upon us but my opinion is that a membership level should not be included in the decision to appoint an Admin member.

It shows dedication Ian, and its a position which obviously requires more dedication than your wallet is willing to provide. And for that reason - you're out.

It's because, Ian, it needs to replicate the current pricing and permissions model, by being entirely nonsensical in every conceivable way.

I suspect you'll start of being an admin when you sign up, then as you post more and more you're eventually pushed out.
