Bit of a question for the mechanics on here. Do you/your garage use their stuff or stick to Snap-On? What's the general opinion of them?

Just curious as i'm going to be working very closely with them at work, trying to get my head around what real people think of the business.

cheers

Awesome cheers. Yeah the x431 seems to be their flagship product from what I can tell. I'm very interested in the slightly cheaper ones for home enthusiasts though.

the lower end models only really work fully on proper EOBDII cars, so anything petrol post 02, and diesel post 05.

no commercials like transits though, not used the X431, would imagine it's similar to snapon ones where they can have manufacturer specific data rather than the straight basic PO code list.

Not on all cars. Had very strange results using a variety of OBDII readers on my 2001 volvo. Its proper OBDII as well. So are the diesels of the same age Razz
