Thought id stick this up as a few of you member may or may not be interested Smile

After selling the E46 M3, i was in a bit of a pickle as to what to replace it with.

I thought of buying cheap Subarus or Evos, but the problem was finding a nice clean example of either is either troublesome or near on impossible. So i began looking at E36 M3 3.0's but as with the territory they have fallen into the hands of the wrong people and theres nothing but doses with jingling diffs and poor repairs.

Spotted this little beauty and it took my breath away. It is on another level of immaculate. A car that deserves the title of being such.

A 100% Genuine car with everything that it left the factory with still in place, even the plastic wrapping to the first aid kit, the dockets for alarm install, every document in place, every piece of paper accounted for and most importantly, every stamp in the book. And arches that are as rust and blemish free.

Its a completely different car than the E46. tigher driving, nicer turn in, a much more solid, sure footed car. So this proves there still are nice E36's out there. Smile

Some (very poor) pictures below.

Mark

i preferred my e36 m3 evo to my e46 m3 Yes felt more raw and hardcore. the e46 was nice and better built but not as much fun. don't think there was anything in it speed-wise either

seen this for sale for a bit on PH (if it's the same one). love the seats! i thnk they should have made them more special IMO, like +50 bhp Yes

run a magnet over the arches to be on the safe side, i remember doing this when i was viewing e36's LOL

i've seen some good nick e36 evo's going for more than e46's. i'd like another estoril blue e36 evo but i don't think it'd be the same the 2nd time round

edit> edited this like 5 times now LOL just looking at the photos of it, as a whole car, they simply don't look like they are quick. they are absolutely brutal, i still can't get over tanking mine the first time i took it out. cut throat

Its a bit less refined, which i alway thought was the E46s biggest downfall.

I doubt its the same one, as it wasnt really advertised. an extra 50bhp would have been nice but hey ho.

The arches are 110% mint, no bubbles no rust no blemishes, and the car is completly original paint wise Smug

Nice - I always thought the the E46 was a bit on the wide side. This is much more suitable for blasting down narrow country roads Thumbs up

+1 it looks like it must be really low as that's in an amazing condition for a car of that age. The owner must have loved it to keep it that nice.

Lovely cars. Foolishly I looked for insurance on one (I'm 22 years old) and the quotes were all horrendous LOL

Doubt there will be any good ones left in 3 years time when I can afford to insure one. Looks lovely.
