Prob gonna be a no but cba to take it out to find out, does the standard clarion tape player have the relative bits for use with a sub?

Wouldnt have thought so. I had a cd player in mine and that didnt.

No it won't but you can use something called a "line out converter":

But means cutting up your existing wiring and the sound quality is even poorer from an already average head unit/cassette player. My suggestion: wait til you can afford a good head unit that has relevant RCA ports at the back so you can do it properly.

That's what I'll end up doing I think. I've got a 6cd changer in the boot and didn't the the point in upgrading if I didn't have to and my spare CD player doesn't have a CD changer function. O well.
