No sticker Sad

Done on standard copier paper rather than issued pre printed with numbers?

Good to see the advisories are on the same sheet. Saves them getting 'lost' when you buy a car.

Saw a thing about these the other month, as Carl implied no-one actually checks MOT certs any more, it's all done online using the MOT database. No point spending a fortune of special stationery just for no-one to look at it.

Easier to photoshop one of those for tax at the Post Office. Although with ANPR etc, you are going to get caught eventually.

Seen these at work also this morning. They look propper cheap (obviously i know why). The Advisory section on the RHS can be either a benefit or a hinderance depending how you look at it!

Wouldn't surprise me if they just give the Post Office access to the MOT / MID databases.

Or if you scan it into a computer and edit it in photoshop and print it out again! Easy peasy with it being on plain paper, Hence the why it's usually printed on green/red/amber etc?

Well no, all that gives you is a piece of paper. What Carl's saying is that an MOT is no longer a piece of paper, it's a record on a computer. Unless you can get into that, you have no MOT. The second you drive past an ANPR car they know you haven't got an MOT, doesn't matter how good you are at Photoshop. It just means they then charge you with perverting the course of justice as well as having no MOT.

£54.85 for everyone or what ever the standard price is? Might depend on the branch though. £27-ish for staff, so was great when my 206 passed with no advisories Big grin
