Right my fans stay on after the engine is turned off and they even kick in when the ignition is turned but not started. Now ive got a massive water leak coming fron below the the engine,ive disconected the battery now and the water has stopped coming out. Whats wrong with it ?? Thank you

Sounds like either a f*cked rad or a f*cked waterpump.

Reconnect the battery and see if the water starts leaking again.

Check the hose that goes into the water jacket. The pipe could have perished or the clip may have come away. Other than that I agree with the above as regards to the water pump.

As for your fans running with just the ignition on that's due to the car being so hot or turning your engine off at the point the fans naturally come on.

No it's not come on 1st thing In the morning it doesn't overheat eitet

Probably because the fans are always on Laugh

Sounds like two different faults to me, faulty fans and a coolant leak. Just jack it up and have a look Dunno

Id say waterpump if its cambelt side! Mine did this a couple of weeks ago!

put more coolant in to see if it does the same thing to see if you've not just run out of water as well! Hence you'll be able to see if the added pressure makes a difference to the leak and you'll be able to pin point the problem better?

Taking it to be checked out to tomorrow getting new discs and pads aswell so get it checked aswel
