Pallet delivery would be the best. Probably around £60.

I had a good day doing that. Chilled in the van with pete26. plenty of coffee and redbull. But the beam itself does appear to be well put together. Smile

Makes me laugh that my rear beam is for sale in kent for the same money which was rebuilt 200 miles ago and does not want it, must be someone has said something to put him off it, or stillys rep is shot lol. No creaks or noises from this one. Never mind am sure it will go soon enough.

Had to pay another £35 or they wouldn't deliver, 50p per kilo over my weight claim and some random charge. Robbing bas**rds, i'd guesstimated at 65kg and they said it was over 100kg. The driver who collected it got the hump at the weight and went and got a colleague to help him, think they upped the weight just for the hell of it. Weighed my beam with brakes and everything on and it was just over 70 point something kg but they weren't having any of it, was the last time I used them Yes

i am sure myself and "G." on this forum paid £60 to have a 206 gti rear beam delivered within a 5 day timescale, but this was a few years ago and petrol prices amongst other working fees have dramatically went up so i'd expect £100-ish might be the acceptable fee now?! It'll depend on the company of course.

You didn't send one to cwspellowe aswell by any chance did you LOL

It's all well and good underestimating weights and dimensions, until the recipient has to pay the difference when they realise.
