before we start i did use the search function lol only found ppl wanting to buy or get hold of fibreglass bits only 1 topic asking same as i am but its bit old so didnt want to grave dig

im was going to try and make some parts as ive done few things with my dad for his boat with the stuff but i wanted to know if anyone has tryed this a failed? or if the parts are just never strong enough i was planning to use say old spolier for the 6 and use it as a template for a fibreglass mould would the part hold up?. i know depends on how thick you make it ect but just wondering incase im trying something others have and its just not worth it.

Making flat parts like panels are easy enough, you can get foam and stuff to add rigidity. The problem comes with making 3d parts that look good, by the time you've made up the negative molds and the positive part you'll have spent far more on mat and resin than you expect, it's very difficult to do it cheaper and better than a pro company.

=/ hmm just some parts of my car need new parts and full respray as its in some state i thought ither body kit fibre glasss or new stock parts =p who are the companys who make fibreglass pug parts?

Spoox, NUR Motorsport or Ecosse do fibreglass I think. Probably best to give them a shout.

Yeah, me too but he went back in for another op a couple of months ago and I haven't heard from him since so assume he's still recovering.
