What was wrong with the old forum?

Classifieds will just end up a big jumble of cars and parts now, can't see it being an improvement in my eyes

Post the feedback in Captain's thread. Keep its all together, and with enough complaints it may get sorted.

Valid point, but I thought if people post in his thread then he is likely to check and possibly take comments on board.

It's not too late to ask for your membership fees back if you are unhappy. You have 14 days.

I think what made this site originally a good site with great banter was the fact everything was simple and in 1 place, start moving it around and its going to fall apart

Ash,

I also feel using the ‘Classifieds’ section for everything isn’t a positive thing or a step forward for the Forum.

It will be a fragmented mix of parts, cars, and anything else that people are trying to sell.

The Parts for Sale forum at least separates parts from cars, and it is fully searchable using the search facility. Unless I’m missing something, the search facility does not search ‘Classifieds’.

The search facility is extremely useful with Parts for Sale, and saves loads of time for those people trying to source parts.

There is also a wealth of product information and feedback in Parts for sale which I’m sure many users find useful.

Am I also right in thinking there’s a limited number of adverts you can place in ‘Classifieds’, depending on the user’s membership level?

So this may mean people need to upgrade their membership if they wish to sell more than 1 or 2 items.

Kind regards,
Rich
