Get a k&n open filter and make a cold feed to suit, or what alot of people do is use the standard box and get a k&n replacement filter.

There's tonnes of info on this in other threads, other than the noise I believe the overall general feeling is that theres a loss of power with an open filter and you're better off spending your money on another box and a k&n replacement filter, no worries about heat soak or hydro lock then.

Pipercross Viper or BMC CDA induction kits are fine aslong as you put the cold air feed somewhere sensible.

When you are using a Viper or similar cant you just adapt the OE air intake or does that restrict airflow somehow Unsure routing the feed through the foglight housing just looks like a hydrolock thread in the making to me.....

Connect a series of breathing straws together and route them from the base of the rad and up into the throttle body for maximum POWAR.
