Evening chaps, I'm in the process of converting my
dead 6 to an 8v turbo, i've bought an Evo 8
intercooler which i have managed squeeze in,
however, since i will probably be only running
approx 12 psi boost, i'm starting to wonder if this
big I/C is going to be too big.
Small turbo, lowish volume of air????
Any thoughts guys

cheers

If only!! bigger turbo and manifold to suit it, £1200.

I kind of like the lazy torquey power delivery, 6 engine was good (until it decided to drop a valve) but drove a xantia activa turbo and thought, yeah i like this, wonder what it would be like in my 306!!

.

f*cking good car the activa. My dad had one and it handled amazingly!

Rare as rocking horse shit now though. The engine is also a cracker and easy to extract power from.

Stick it in the 6 Thumbs up

yes, handling was shockingly good, that anti roll hydro system works very very well, together with stonking mid range torque! Certainly not what you'd expect from a big heavy, not to mention ugly xantia

Anyway, is my fmic a bit on the big side????

Anyone?
