Does anyone know of a supplier for standard size OE quality piston rings?I know Peugeot sell them obviously, but they're not exactly reasonably priced...

Goetze are good rings. They don't list them for j4rs but vauxhall c20xe (red top) rings fit perfectly. Just used them in my last rebuild. I got mine from the parts supplier we use, but they weren't much cheaper than on eBay.The oil control ring is a better design than oe too. Hope that helps. I used Tarabusi items, the set was for the RFY though and the top ring is different, but my supplier just swapped them for the right spec ring which IIRC came from a 2.0 XE engine.much like madscientist's experience actually  ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
